More about Lake Chaparral POA

Close enough from the city for a day trip but far enough to escape, Lake Chaparral is located 7.5 miles northwest of Mound City, Kansas and is zoned for residential use. Around 16 miles of graveled roads run through much of the subdivision, which the POA (Property Owners Association) maintains.

Lake Chaparral is a beautiful and peaceful community. As you meander through the byways, you find yourself in awe of the scenery. During the summer, lush greenery abounds. Go for a dip and enjoy the comfortable temperatures of the lakes. As the leaves fall, their exit adorns the community with vibrant colors. An autumn campfire is perfect for the cooler nights. The winter snow offers a movie-level magic when it alights the trees. The fish start to bite when spring awakens our urge to get on the lake. All seasons are wonderful at Lake Chaparral!

Most of the lots within the borders of Lake Chaparral can accommodate your building or vacation requirements. However, some lots are on very steep, cliff-like land surfaces that may be more difficult to develop. All lots lend whole-heartily to the beauty of the wooded hillsides and terrain that makes Lake Chaparral like nowhere else in Kansas.
